Areas of Practice
Criminal
I cover a variety of criminal matters, from drug cases, to assault, larceny, and more. I understand these matters bring concerns not only with jail time and fines, but also can cause worries with employment, immigration status, and security clearance. I stand ready to help you with all these issues.
Traffic
Virginia has an especially punitive set of driving laws. I can help you with an assortment of traffic matters, including reckless driving, speeding, and DWI / DUI. I can help make these charges less costly both in terms of fines and insurance premiums.
Expungements
Under certain circumstances, a person arrested and charged with a crime, but not convicted, can have the records of the charge and arrest removed from public view. This is especially important in southeastern Virginia, where there are a large amount of military, contractors, and civilians who can have their security clearances adversely affected by a criminal charge in their record.
